Do the Simran of Guru Gobind Singh ji, every day. There is nobody like him. While alive, he gives you the joy of kingdoms and when you die, he gives you Mukti.
Sri Bala Sandhur Vaach..
Sri Guru Angad Dev ji, listen to the great Katha. Malo had a friend who was a Khan. When the Khan came to meet him, he did a Salaam and sat down near him with love. Malo praised Guru Nanak Dev ji: "listen Ubaray Khan, Khuddah came as Guru Nanak Dev ji. Shaishnaag sings his praises but can't finish singing about him. How can I praise him? I praise him all the time. You should go and do his Darshan. Have the doubts of your heart destroyed." Hearing the praises of Guru ji, the Khan quickly left.
The Khan came to Guru ji and said: "Salaamalaykum." He sat down with joy. He said: "which ideology is greater, Hindu or Turks? Tell me Tappa ji." Sri Guru ji said: "the two sides are like 4 days long. The body dies and mixes to dust. The foolish person loses the life in foolish conflicts. They are forgotten and don't look for the righteous path. They go to Hell and get beaten. Those are in joy who accept the will. They do the Prema Bhagti and sing the praises. They don't come and go into the world again. A person should do Bandagi. Wear the jewellery of the Naam around your neck. The wise ones spend time in the Sangat. They rid themselves of their pride-filled claims. The creator created everyone as the same. The fools make false claims and make two sides. They fight uselessly. Without Prema Bhagti, they go to Hell. They come and go with doubt. Meeting the Satguru, they then get the right wisdom." Ubaray Khan heard this and had love come to his mind. He said: "Tappa ji, give me the Darshan of your feet. As I heard of you from my friend, that is exactly how your Darshan was. You are the blissful form. Fulfill my wish. Oh Omniscient One, bless me." Guru Nanak Dev ji was sitting in an Asana. His clothes covered his whole body. When he heard the request, Guru ji took his feet out, who are meditated upon by Munnis, Inder and Daynts. These feet blessed countless Sikhs and servants. The Kavi is a sacrifice unto these feet. Ubaray Khan was drenched in love. He placed his head on Guru ji's feet. He held Guru ji's feet. He rubbed his hands on his face. He was really happy. He kissed Guru ji's feet, over and over again. His big attachment was being destroyed. Ubaray Khan saw his real form. His doubts all ran away. He had faith. He was blessed. His bonds of attachment were broken. He broke the Jumms trap. He sat for an hour and a half. He said: "I've met the Giver of Mukti today. My heart is calm. The attachment is gone. You are the destroyer of pain and suffering. You are beautiful. Please give me permission so I may go home. I will come back to you. You are the blesser. Have mercy on me that I may never forget your form. You are the creator and the sustainer of the world. You are the destroyer as well. Give me your Naam so I can wear it in my neck. I am blessed to see you. I won't leave without taking your permission." Guru ji said: "food is ready. Eat and then go, Ubaray. The Nirankaar has been compassionate upon you. Your bonds have been broken. Your attachment is gone." Ubaray Khan said: "Tappa ji, wherever there is food, it is all your food. They all beg from you. You are the only giver. Please give me permission to go home. I will come back quickly here." He took leave and went back home. He had the praise of Sri Guru ji in his heart.
A Fakir named Adrehman (Abdul Rehman) met Ubaray Khan. Adrehman was worshiped in the world. Ubaray Khan went to him and did his Salaam. He praised Guru ji to him. He said: "in Kaliyuga, an Avatar has come. I went to him. His Darshan gives Mukti. He was as I heard of him." The Fakir heard this and got angry. Sri Guru ji's praises made him angry. It was like the moon who bothers the separated wife. The Fakir spoke in jealousy: "who is this impure Hindu, whom you praise? You became his friend. I will make him get up and go somewhere else." Ubaray Khan said: "why would you make him go away? Allah came in a pure body. I've seen nobody else like him. You don't know him. How will you make him get up and go?" Adrehman said: "you are an unwise fool to follow a Hindu. You call him Khuddah and speak to me about him. Your words are silly and they make me laugh. I will make him get up and leave from here. Don't praise a Hindu again. You lost your faith and speak nonsense. Don't say this to anyone else. Obey me." Ubaray Khan said: "there is no Hindu nor Turk. He is neither. Oh Sheikh ji, who will you tell to leave? He is Khuddah himself. Understand this in your mind. Don't speak such words. You will be embarrassed and regret your actions. When you meet him, you won't know what to say. If he was your equal, you can be jealous. He is the greater one. You need to request him. This is good for you." The Khan then went quiet. Adrehman was angry. He couldn't say anything. Guru ji's praises weren't tolerated by him. Ubaray Khan went to his home. He ate food and slept the night.
In the morning, Ubaray Khan got ready to go. He took a cloth of 16 yards. The cloth was called Bafta. It was expensive. He went to Guru ji and presented the cloth. He grabbed Guru ji 's feet and bowed his head. He put the dirt from the feet on to his forehead and face. He sat down and did Guru ji's Darshan. Sri Guru ji said: "Khan ji, may Khuddah do good for you. May you be given Naam. May your attachment be destroyed. Such a cloth that you brought, this is not for me. I am a Fakir. This is not for me. I accept your gift but this cloth is for kings. Your love is complete for me. The Khuddah has forgiven you." Ubaray Khan heard this and said: "are you forgiving me or killing me? If you are forgiving me, then take this cloth. If you want to kill me, then you can return the cloth." Seeing the love, Guru ji sent a servant to get a tailor: "get a tailor so this Khan is happy. He is my Sikh; I need to make him happy." The servant brought a tailor. The cloth was given to the tailor. The tailor began to measure the cloth. It was a very fine fabric. The thread was very fine. 1,600 threads were in 1 yard. The tailor said: "as you command, Tappa ji, I will make this cloth." Guru ji said: "make 2 Chadras." Guru ji gave his directions. The Tailor obeyed and sewed two Chadras in a nice way. He was wise. Sri Guru Nanak Dev ji wore both pieces. He had given Mukti to many servants. He took this cloth to give Ubaray Khan Mukti. Seeing the beautiful cloths, Ubaray Khan spoke with a happy heart: "I don't see anyone like you. I see myself fortunate. You are the Master of the Universe. You are the greatest. The insentient plants and animals, you give to all. I got to do your Seva. I am blessed. You are my Master." The Omniscient One said: "tell me about Adrehman. Why is he angry at him? What did he say?" Ubaray Khan was surprised to hear this. He thought to himself: "how did he know without me telling him?" He then said: "Oh Master, you know everything. Why are you asking me, oh Omniscient One? The words that he said, I can't say them to you. He dresses like a Fakir but is far from it. He is not on the Path to Fakiri. He has jealousy in his mind. Hearing praises of others, he burns in jealousy. Your praises are like the full moon. He is in pain like the Chakva." Guru ji said: "tell me what he said, as he said it. Don't hide anything from me. You won't be guilty of anything." Ubaray Khan spoke: "he has bad wisdom. He is filled with ego. I praised you to him and he got angry. He burned in ego. He said: "Hindus are impure. You befriended him. Why are you praising him? I will make him get up and throw him far away." I tried to make him understand that you are Khuddah in human form but he didn't listen to any word of mine. He remained egotistically stiff. He couldn't command me so he went quiet. He spoke with ego. He will be embarrassed if you meet him."
Sri Guru Angad Dev ji, listen, after this, The Guru Bhagwanta said to me: "let's go Bala. Let's go and see him. Let's take out this Sheikh's air." After saying this, Guru ji left to embarrass the Sheikh. Guru ji said: "Ubaray, you go and I will come after." Ubaray Khan left. Guru ji walked after, slowly. The Fakir was in his palanquin. He was egotistical. He had a lot of people with him. Sri Guru ji was coming. Everyone saw this and said to the Sheikh: "listen Shah ji, the Tappa is coming." Adrehman heard this and got off his palanquin to respectfully welcome Guru ji. He saw Guru ji coming. The Fakir stood and wondered why Guru ji was coming. When Guru ji came close, the Sheikh kissed Guru ji's hands. He spoke: "Tappa ji, are you well?" Guru ji said: "listen Adrehman, everything is well. Nothing is well though." Adrehman asked: "is everything well?" Guru ji said: "it’s well but not well." He asked this 3 times. Guru ji responded the same way. Adrehman then said: "listen Tappa ji, I am surprised by your words. How should I understand your words? Are you well or are you not well? Tell me. Help me understand this." Sri Guru ji said: "listen Sheikh ji. Everything is well. The way it is not well, understand this: you want to make me get up and go away, which land did I take from you? Did I take your money or wealth from you. Why are you my enemy? Why do you want to make me go away with fearlessness? You can take my place right now, from where you want to make me go away from.” Adrehman said: "who told you this? Somebody is lying to you. I didn't say anything like that." When he said this, Ubaray Khan illuminated in astonishment and said: "you said this to me yesterday about praising a Hindu! You said you would kick him out without delay. You are denying it now! Why are you embarrassed? What you said before, why don't you say it now?" Adrehman said: "oh Khan, sit down where you are. You and I are not equals. Stay quiet. The Tappa and I are speaking. We will figure it out between us. You don't need to speak. You have no use speaking here." Ubaray Khan heard this and said: "my home is with the Tappa. He is my Peer of Peers. I am the Mureed of his servants. You slandered him. You will be punished for sinning. Speak how you did before. Your pain will then go away."
Guru ji smiled when he heard this. He saw Ubaray Khan's state and Adrehman embarrassed. His heart was burnt. The egotistical one said: "Hindu or Muslim, which is greater? Which ideology do you follow? Tell me everything." Sri Guru ji heard this and said: "I have let go of both sides. The Hindus and Turks fight foolishly. Satan lives in their minds. They are not at peace. To make their egos bigger, they keep fighting with each other. They are unwise and foolish. The Jumms will punish them. They are stuck in Duality. They are in pain then. They forget the Satnam. They haven’t met the Satguru. They have no wisdom. Some doctors cut and know how to fix a broken bone. They cut through the flesh and connect the bone. The unwise doctors don't recognize the broken bone. They only treat the wounded flesh. The bone doesn't fix. They become ill. The Satguru is the one that gets rid of the attachment. He gets rid of the vices. Then he gives the wisdom of the Aatma. They don't suffer pain of being born again. Some Gurus are weak. They don't destroy the vices of the students. They give wisdom and want them to be blessed. The ego and attachment are not destroyed in this way. You met a weak Guru who didn't show you your form. You are stuck in ego. You see your body as your real self." The Sheikh said: "Nanak Tappa, how big are you? You don't look towards anyone and have let go of both sides." Sri Guru ji said: "my vision is too far away. I am always in the presence of the Akaal Purakh. Listen Sheikh, this is a good thing who have lost themselves to make them in peace. They achieve the Niranjan. They chant the name and lose their ego. There is only one Khuddah, the creator. The good and bad is made by him. Nothing is high or low. They are as they are created." Guru ji looked with a divine vision and destroyed the ego of the Fakir.
Adrehman heard the wisdom and became humble. He grabbed Guru ji's feet and said: "Tappa, forgive my mistakes. I slandered you out of error. I didn't know your greatness. Forgive me." Ubaray Khan said: "you wanted to make the Tappa leave. Why aren't you kicking him out now? You met him and lowered your neck. One should think before speaking. How can an ant eat a mountain? How can a firefly compare to the sun? You didn't understand this. That’s what yours and Tappa ji's difference is." Adrehman said: "before I thought he was an idol-worshipping Hindu, but he is not like them. He is different than Hindus and Muslims. His ideology is really great. Nobody can compare to him. I met him and now I know of him." The people around Adrehman all bowed to Guru j's feet. Sri Guru ji said: "the lovers of Khuddah have his fear in their hearts. They don't make mistakes. They live in fear all of the time of Khuddah. They do Simran in Prema Bhagti. They become great and humble." Adrehman was really happy. He then left. Ubaray Khan came to Guru ji and said; "you love Prema Bhagti. You destroy ego and give Mukti. Set your feet in my home and make it pure. Stay the night in my home." Guru ji heard this and went to his home. A nice bed was laid out for Prabhoo ji. A Brahmin was called to cook for Guru ji. Ubaray Khan served Guru ji's feet. For 2 days, Guru ji stayed in Ubaray Khan's home. He was fortunate. Guru ji then came to Kartarpur. The egotistical ones fell to his feet.
